Flow
Forms are unique in that the water flowing through them takes up
a pulsing figure eight movement. The engaging sight and sound of
the rhythmically flowing water and the sculptural form of the pieces
themselves make Flow Forms ideally suited to a wide range of architectural
and landscape settings. They can be used to enhance ornamental and
wildlife ponds.
Flow
Forms were created by artists who studied natural water movements
carefully and observe waters classical
circular movements in swirling eddies. To emulate and increase these
tendencies, vessels were sculpted in such a way that a constant
stream of water is allowed to flow in a rounder way and find a "pulse".
By allowing the water to move closer to its nature, it becomes more
open to subtle influences which allow it to better carry biological
information. This effect is like the qualities that occur naturally
in high mountain streams. Vessels so sculpted allow these natural
movements to reanimate the water flowing in them. Water moving circles
and rhythms behaves in more natural, balanced way, seeming to release
more 'energy' from the water itself enabling it to stay fresher
longer. Plants love this energy. So do birds. Flow Forms are an
aesthetic, educational and psychological benefit to nature and us!
The cost
ranges anywhere from $250 - $4000 for a single kit (prices will
vary, because each order is customized). All of our Flow Forms are
hand made, with polyurethane material only. We do not use concrete.
Concrete material is heavy, weathers and cracks. The appearance
can range from a bronze or copper resin, to any color off the spectrum
for a unique look.
