Sample Trivia.

Question:  How did the Green Turtle get its' name?  All eight species of sea turtles are now threatened or endangered.   One of the main reasons is that humans like to eat them.  Green Turtles are said to be delicious, perhaps because these turtles are vegetarians.  But why are they called Green Turtles?

Answer:  How did the Green Turtle get its' name? Their shells are gray-brown, but inside, their fat is green.  Although the craze for Green Turtle soup has hurt their numbers, a group called the Brotherhood of the Green Turtle now backs the efforts of the late Archie Carr to save the species.   They finance research, save nesting sites and promote projects to help both the turtles and the people who earn income from them.  Let's get together like this on other ocean conservation projects.
