| The permanent wood foundation (PWF) for both domes, made from Wolmanized pressure-treated wood, is more energy efficient than traditional block or concrete foundations. The PWF does not crack like block, is warmer in winter and is more user-friendly for mounting items on the interior walls. (Photo taken of the main dome foundation.)
